Sandra “Sandy” Louise Revers, 79, of Kempner, died on Jan. 26, 2024.
Born on July 8, 1944, in Providence, Rhode Island, Sandy was known for her warm, kind and gentle nature. She put her best into everything she did, always showing love and appreciation for those around her.
Sandy held a variety of jobs as she traveled the world supporting her husband’s career in the United States Navy and raising their son. Her last work was helping students as an administrator at Central Texas College. She was a person who valued family deeply.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney; her son, Timothy; her sister, Janice; her two granddaughters Kailey and Sara; and several nieces and nephews.
In her free time, Sandy found joy in caring for and riding horses, growing her own vegetables, reading, and tending to the land she and Rodney moved onto in 1981.
Sandy was laid to rest in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen on May 22.
