The 580 Sports Complex on the western side of Lampasas provided rental spots for RVs and campers for those traveling to view Monday’s eclipse event. While many had cleared out early due to weather and cloud coverage concerns, those who stayed got a great view of the totality. While there were many who traveled several hours and some even crossed state and international lines to get here, there were also many county residents who stepped outside to view the sight.
