The Badger basketball team spent time in Academy last weekend for its first tournament of the season. Lampasas finished 3-1, with wins over Groesbeck, the Shoemaker junior varsity team and Hyde Park. The one loss came to Scurry-Rosser last Thursday.
The Badgers took a 46-36 victory over the Shoemaker JV. They won 64-54 over Hyde Park, and they beat Groesbeck 57-22.
