Court proceedings have begun for a Kempner woman charged with aggravated assault after a purported domestic dispute turned violent in August.
Sarah Jane Ames, 32, is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on Dec. 1. She is accused of shooting her husband multiple times in the arm during a domestic disturbance on Aug. 5.
