A Kempner infant is in critical condition after a family dog reportedly attacked the baby Tuesday night.
In a statement released Thursday morning, Lampasas County Sheriff’s Department officials said they received a call at 10:38 p.m. Sept. 19 from a residence in the 100 block of Private Road 4951.
The caller, the mother of a two-monthold infant girl, said her daughter was attacked by a family pet.
