The Lampasas cross country teams traveled to Salado last week, and the boys’ team came home with its second runner-up finish of the season, competing against schools ranging from 1A to 4A divisions.
Kent Ashley and Brayden Phillips both medaled with their top 15 finishes.
Ashley came in fourth with a time of 17:48, and Phillips placed 12th at 18:35.
