Rene was born to Faustino and Mary Torres in Lampasas on Sept. 1, 1965.
Rene, 57, of Burnet, died on Aug. 10, 2023, in Round Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Faustino and Mary, and two brothers, Faustino Jr. and Diego Torres.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; three sisters, Mary Thompson, Sophie Torres and Stephanie Ricupati; numerous nieces and nephews; and by his church family.
Rene enjoyed drawing and making his lures to fish with.
He loved to spend time with friends and family, sharing his stories. Rene’s greatest passion was serving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
