‘Voter-approved’ rate is highest Lampasas can adopt without triggering an election
In its preparations for determining this year’s tax levy, the city of Lampasas has issued notice to residents regarding the rates that are used to calculate it.
According to the city notice, the “no-newrevenue” rate is 0.290586 per $100 property valuation. This rate would impose the same amount of taxes as last year’s rate when comparing properties taxed both years.
