Marcus R. Johnson, 76, of Lampasas died on June 13, 2023 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen.
Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on June 22 from 6-8 p.m.
Services will be June 23 at 10 a.m. at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Marc was born on Aug. 15, 1946, to Dorothy Hargrove and Jack Johnson in Fort Worth. He attended Garland schools and El Centro College, then he worked 40 years as a mechanical inspector in the petroleum and defense industries. Marc also served his country and retired from the U.S. Air Force.
Marc was a Bible-believing child of God.
He married Eugenia “Jeanie” Maceyra on Aug. 15, 1980 in Lampasas.
Survivors include his wife, Eugenia Johnson of Lampasas; brothers-in-law Bill Maceyra and Manuel Maceyra of Lampasas; a daughter, Tina Barker Maceyra of Fort Worth; sons Robert of Dallas and Marc B. of Garland; grandsons Tyler and Bredt of Dallas; great-grandson, Leland of Dallas; sister, Jan of Plano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dottie Hawthorne and husband C.W., and Jack P. Johnson; father-in-law, Hilario Maceyra; sistersin- law Frances Castruita Maceyra, Anita Maceyra and Guadalupe Bocanegra; and brother-in-law, Pete Maceyra.
