Family honors fallen first responder with safety awareness campaign

“It was so senseless and needless for this to happen.”
Mitzi Morin used those words to describe the death of her husband, Patrick Morin. He was struck by a passing vehicle on U.S. Highway 183 near Goldthwaite on Dec. 10, 2022, while operating his tow truck.
Even five months later, Mitzi Morin said there’s much she doesn’t know about the collision – and some things she may never know.
