Residents put under Stage 5 restrictions after KWSC transmission line breaks

A concrete main line that suffered a break Tuesday was repaired as of Thursday morning, and water service has been restored to those affected after about 36 hours of interrupted service.
The leak prompted the city of Lampasas to initiate Stage 5 water conservation measures on Tuesday. Those restrictions were lifted Thursday morning, however the city and areas around Kempner served by Kempner Water …
