Tuesday was Election Day, and area voters headed to the polls to choose Republican and Democratic nominees for the General Election in November.
Early voting ended Feb. 25, with a total of 2,284 people participating. Vote totals as of March 1 were 4,508 — 4,047 voted in the Republican primary, and 461 in the Democrat primary.
