A truck driver walked away with no apparent injuries Monday after his 18-wheeler was struck by a moving train, public-safety officials said.
The incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. at an unmarked railroad crossing adjacent to U.S. Highway 190 in Kempner.
The crash caused mild traffic delays in the area for a few hours.
