A Lampasas woman and her toddler were transported to a local hospital last Friday after her vehicle nearly drove into Sulphur Creek.
Lampasas Police Department officials said the 32-year-old woman was driving northbound Oct. 20 toward a bridge on South Western Avenue near the intersection with Riverview Drive when her sedan left the roadway to the right and drove down the creek embankment.
