School district turns down tax incentives for solar farm project

    After a 40-minute deliberation Monday night, the Lampasas Independent School District Board of Trustees voted 5-2 against offering tax incentives to a solar panel farm proposed in the county.

    This action followed an open forum time during which more than a dozen residents spoke in opposition to the project.
