Riata rodeo action, barbecue competition on tap this weekend

Three days of rodeo competition and plenty of good eating will be available as part of the Riata Roundup Rodeo & LTX BBQ Fest. The event takes place Thursday through Saturday at the 580 Sports Complex in west Lampasas.
Action Thursday will kick off the riata with a jackpot open barrel race at 8 p.m.
