Residents gather on courthouse square to honor area veterans

Under the warmth of the morning sun, more than 200 people gathered at the Lampasas County Courthouse for a Veterans Day ceremony.
Every year on Nov. 11, active-duty military, veterans, military families and others commemorate Veterans Day.
County Judge Randy Hoyer led the ceremony, which was preceded with music by Neil Herndon, an Air Force veteran.
