The Lampasas City Council swore in new Mayor TJ Monroe and council members Zac Morris and Herb Pearce, along with returning Councilman Randy Clark, during a special session Monday night.
Place 3 Councilman Chuck Williamson was appointed mayor pro tem.
Two contested municipal races took place earlier in May — for City Council Place 1 and the mayoral seat.
