Work has begun at Cooper Spring Nature Park to add a new feature to the area.
Employees of RKJ Construction and city of Lampasas staff have laid the foundation for a new footbridge over Spring Branch, the creek to the south of the pavilion at the park.
This bridge will provide a passage to part of the park that currently is inaccessible due to the waterway that runs through the property.
