Lometa ISD has officially adopted a budget for the 2023-2024 school year. The district’s Board of Trustees met Thursday for a special meeting to discuss and approve the new fiscal-year budget and tax rate.
The board adopted a tax rate of $0.82110 per $100 property valuation. Of that rate, $0.66920 represents maintenance and operations, and $0.15190 represents debt service.
