The Lometa City Council dealt with lease agreements during last week’s regular meeting.
The meeting began with a surprise announcement during the open forum.
District Clerk Edith Harrison presented the city with a check for $5,950.65. The proceeds resulted from a property that was seized and later auctioned off due to a default on back taxes.
