The search for the city’s next fire marshal continues, Fire Chief Jeff Smith told the Dispatch Record.
Longtime fire marshal Ronnie Withers retired from the Lampasas Fire Department on July 8. He had been with the department for 19 years.
Smith said LFD is looking internally for Withers’ replacement. He added he met with the final two candidates this week.
