The Hamilton County Electric Cooperative Association Board of Directors has approved measures to help the co-op’s membership cope with challenges that resulted from the Feb. 15-19 winter storm. During this period, Hamilton County Electric said the Electric Reliability Council of Texas mandated that utilities conduct controlled, rotating outages and allowed power prices to skyrocket.
