Lometa L-M Garden and Civic Club had its first meeting of the new year Monday at 7 p.m. at the club building. About 10 people were present for the program and meeting.
The meeting was called to order by president Debbie Hicks. Club member Janie Potts introduced the guest speaker, Lampasas County Extension Agent Karen DeZarn, whose topic was “Can You Dig Saving Money?”
