Former city of Kempner police officer Andrew Sowder, who also worked with the Marble Falls Police Department, was taken into custody and charged with illegally obtaining restricted governmental information for a non-law enforcement reason.
Mayor John Wilkerson said in a news release Tuesday morning that he was informed of Sowder’s actions shortly after taking office in May.
