Lampasas County 27th District Court convened Aug. 29, with Judge Debbie Garrett presiding over the day’s hearings.
Defendant Billy Joe Kirkham of Lampasas entered a plea of guilty to a charge of theft of property greater than or equal to $2,500 and less than $30,000. He was sentenced to 13 months in state jail, with credit for time served of 407 days.
