The Lampasas County Commissioners Court approved an agreement during Monday’s regular meeting with Waterway Engineering to pinpoint sites for outdoor warning sirens that would alert residents during severe flooding.
The firm will evaluate floodprone areas and recommend placements so the sirens can give residents earlier warnings when heavy rain threatens to overwhelm local waterways.
