County eligible for grant to assist flood-prone areas

Lampasas County is eligible for a grant of up to $1 million from the Texas Water Development Board to boost safety and security infrastructure in flood-prone areas.
During Monday’s Lampasas County Commissioners Court meeting that was rescheduled from Jan. 26 due to icy conditions, County Judge Randy Hoyer established a committee to develop a plan on how potential grant money could be spent.
