County adopts new commissioner precinct boundaries

Some Lampasas County residents will have a different commissioner representing them, effective with the new year.
On Tuesday, the Lampasas County Commissioners Court held a public hearing on redrawing commissioner precincts, followed by a vote.
The court voted unanimously on new precinct lines, even though they were not legally bound to change the boundaries.
