HUNTER KING | DISPATCH RECORD The city’s East Second Street Improvement Project has begun, which will encompass a full redesign of the roadway. Second Street from Main to Pecan will be closed during the work, as will several blocks of Main Street, Western Avenue and Live Oak Street.
The complete rebuild of East Second Street from Main Street to Pecan Street is underway.
According to Assistant City Manager Ryan Ward and the July 8 information packet provided to the Lampasas City Council, the project will include Americans With Disabilities Act accessibility additions, new sidewalks, new curb and gutters, and a full redesign of the roadway.
