U.S. Rep. Roger Williams came to Lampasas on Tuesday to visit the county’s new law enforcement center.
Williams and his staff toured the 56,000-square-foot, $18 million facility that is capable of housing 112 inmates.
The jail has enough staffing for 48 inmates, but the Lampasas County Sheriff's Office expects to add more staff soon.
