City manager to step down at end of contract year

    Lampasas City Manager Erin Corbell submitted her letter of resignation to the City Council Tuesday night during executive session, and the council accepted the letter afterward in open session.

    Corbell said in the letter she is willing to work until the end of her contract on Nov. 17, although she would prefer to leave by Sept. 30.
