Cattle auction to close after more than 60 years of business

May 1, 2024, will mark the end of an era that began on July 19, 1959. The echo of cattle lowing will cease to exist. The auction cafe will no longer operate. Cattle buyers, beef producers and cowboys will no longer swap greetings and stories.
