The report from the March 31 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
CATTLE AND CALVES
Total cattle 458, compared to 446 last sale and 222 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were $5-$7 higher. Slaughter cows were $2- $4 higher, and slaughter bulls were steady to $2 higher.
Feeder cattle accounted for 79 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 21 percent.
