The report from the April
5 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 323, compared to 305 last sale and 712 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, stockers were steady to $3 lower (due to quality). Feeder steers and heifers were $5-$7 higher. Slaughter cows were steady to $4 lower; slaughter bulls steady to $2 lower.
