The report from the July 13 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 826, compared to 742 last sale and 639 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $5 higher. Slaughter cows were $10- $12 lower, and slaughter bulls were $3-$5 lower.
Feeder cattle accounted for 63 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 37 percent.
