The report from the Sept. 29 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 305, compared to 725 last sale and 580 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $3 lower. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were $1-$3 lower.
Feeder cattle accounted for 69 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 31 percent.
