The July 28 Lampasas Cattle Auction report follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 391, compared to 324 last sale and 459 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $3 higher. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were $1-$3 higher.
Feeder cattle accounted for 75 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 25 percent.
