COVID-19 IMMUNIZATION CLINIC
A drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be offered Wednesday at the Kempner Volunteer Fire Department station at 315 S. Pecan St. in Kempner. The clinic will be administered by the National Guard.
The minimum age is 18. An appointment is required.
To schedule an appointment, call 512-734-3635 between 7-10 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, or 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
SENIOR CENTER REOPENS
The Lampasas Multi-Service Senior Center will reopen Tuesday, after having been closed due to the pandemic.
Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The center is located at 901 S. Live Oak St. in Lampasas.
KEMPNER SLOGAN CONTEST
Kempner is seeking public participation in a competition to pick a new city slogan. Suggestions are due April 9 at 3:30 p.m. The Kempner City Council will vote on the new slogan April 13, and the contest winner will receive a $100 prize – which Mayor Keith Harvey donated.
