The Lampasas Municipal Airport is one of several Central Texas airfields that were awarded federal grants totaling $232,162 to combat the spread of coronavirus, according to U.S. Sen. John Cornyn.
The funding comes through the Coronavirus Relief and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2020, which Cornyn voted in favor of in December.
