Band to hold Christmas concert on Thursday

Also scheduled is pancake breakfast fundraiser -- set for Dec. 16

After a successful fall marching season, the Lampasas High School Badger Band has turned its attention to a busy slate of December activities. The high school and middle school bands will offer a free concert Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the high school gymnasium. A pancake breakfast fundraiser will be Dec. 16 from 8-11 a.m. at the middle school band hall.

The high school and middle school bands will offer a free concert Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the high school gymnasium. A pancake breakfast fundraiser will be Dec. 16 from 8-11 a.m. at the middle school band hall.

To celebrate the Christmas season, the Lampasas High School band  and the Lampasas Middle School band will present a free concert Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.

The festivities will include a bake sale and silent auction of baskets assembled by the high school band students.

Also Thursday, tickets for the upcoming pancake breakfast fundraiser will be available.

The breakfast will be Dec. 16 from 8-11 a.m. at the middle school band hall. The high school jazz band, and ensembles from both the middle school and the high school, will perform. In addition, Santa will make an appearance.

Tickets for the breakfast are $8 for adults and $5 for children 5 and under.

Tickets, which must be purchased before the event, are available at The Cake Lady  or  by sending an email to badgerbandbooster@gmail.com. Those who purchase tickets will receive an invoice for payment by credit card. Tickets will be available to be picked up at the Dec. 16 breakfast.
