4-H names ‘Friend’ of organization

The Friend of 4-H award is given to a person, group or business that has given outstanding support to the local 4-H.

PEC United Charities is made up of participating Pedernales Electric Cooperative employees who donate 70 percent of their first hour of pay each month to charities of their choice. PEC’s Board of Directors gives $100,000 in addition to employees’ contributions.

PEC has donated to Lampasas 4-H two of the last three years.
