The Lampasas County Commissioners Court has proposed a 2017-2018 tax rate of 69.769 cents per $100 property valuation -- which is 2.88 cents higher per $100 than the current rate. The proposal to raise the total rate results from a proposed increase in the interest and sinking rate to pay for construction of a new law enforcement center.
