Today is the deadline to purchase tickets for the Lampasas Band Parents Booster Club spaghetti dinner fundraiser. Dinners will be available for pickup March 25 at 3 p.m. at a location to be determined.

All proceeds will go toward a sound system for the award-winning Badger Band.

Each dinner will include spaghetti, salad, a choice of ranch or Italian dressing, garlic bread and dessert -- a choice of brownie or cupcake. Meals are $8 each, and an extra dessert is $2.

To order, send an email to badgerbandbooster@gmail.com. Band boosters will send invoices through Square. Those who prefer to pay in person may indicate that in the email, and boosters will arrange a place and time to meet to accept payment.


Business and civic leaders are invited to a CTE Community Partner Luncheon, hosted by the Lampasas ISD, April 5 from noon to 1 p.m. at the former middle school cafeteria on Western Avenue.

The public is invited to learn more about the new Career & Technical Education programs at Lampasas ISD and what is entailed in becoming a community partner. RSVP by March 24 by calling 512-556-6224.


The burn ban is off until Sunday at 7 p.m. As a result, controlled fires are allowed in areas outside incorporated city limits.
