The girls’ soccer team traveled to Killeen on Tuesday night and won 1-0.

Senior pitcher Kady Crow had a two-run RBI with a double in the first inning, and the Lady Badgers were eventually able to take a 3-0 lead in the first inning.
Crow and senior Tealey Farquhar led the Lady Badgers with two hits each, while Crow had six strikeouts.
The Lady Badgers traveled to Marble Falls yesterday for their final non-district game of the season. Lampasas will begin district play Tuesday when it hosts Burnet.
Students at Goldthwaite High School are planning the third annual Cen-Tex Run for Compassion 5K, which will benefit Compassion International and its humanitarian work around the globe.
Money is being raised for a project called Water of Life, where Compassion International provides clean drinking water to people in developing countries.
The April 7 race will begin with a “Kiddie K” at 8:30 a.m. in front of Mills County State Bank in Goldthwaite. The 5K starts at 9 a.m.
Cost is $10 for kids; $20 for adults. Those who register by March 31 will receive a free T-shirt and goody bag.
