See You at the Library

201 South Main Street

Lampasas Public Library has two Facebook contests under way: "How I Met My Valentine" and "Bitter and Brokenhearted." Both run through Feb 12.

Log onto the library's contest Facebook page and tell us how you met your Valentine. Does it read like a romance novel? Is it a quirky tale of love?

Tell us how you met and why you deserve a Valentine's prize pack of a dinner for two, flowers and a Valentine's cake for two.

For the Bitter and Brokenhearted contest, participants should explain why they are "anti-Valentine's."

Have you been jilted and are feeling a bit bitter about your single status? If so, log on to the Facebook contest page and tell us what happened that made your heart a little cold, and why you deserve a second chance to get back into the dating world.

The winner receives a haircut, a cosmetics gift pack for a man or woman, and a one-month gym membership.
