PetPALS, in conjunction with The Humane Society of the United States and Human Society International, will recognize Spay Day at its spay/neuter clinics in February.

In honor of Spay Day 2012, PetPALS is asking individuals to sponsor the spaying or neutering of at least one animal -- their own animal, a friend or family member's pet, or a shelter animal awaiting adoption.

PetPALS will hold low-cost spay and neuter clinics Wednesday and again Feb. 18 at its facility at 2003 RR 1431 West in Marble Falls.

Appointments are required, and financial assistance may be available.
