The public is invited to welcome Miles and Shirley Miears, new pastor and his wife, to Lake Victor Baptist Church at a gospel singing Sunday at 6 p.m.

The church is halfway between Lampasas and Burnet, three miles east of U.S. Highway 281 South on FM 2340.

Brother Barry Drake will lead the singing from the "Heavenly Highways" hymnbook.

Food and fellowship will follow the singing.
