Herfurth-Tedford Mike and Colleen Tedford of Lampasas have announced the engagement of Ashley Nichole Herfurth to Kyle Thomas Tedford, both of New Braunfels. The couple plan to exchange wedding vows in an Oct. 2, 2010, ceremony at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Miss Herfurth is the daughter of Gary and Sherial Herfurth of New Braunfels.

She is a graduate of Canyon High School, and Baptist Health System School of Health Professions, where she earned a diploma in professional nursing.

Miss Herfurth is employed as a registered nurse at Baptist Medical Center.

Mr. Tedford is the son of Mike and Colleen Tedford and a graduate of Lampasas High School.

He received his bachelor of science in recreational administration from Texas State University.

The prospective bridegroom is employed by Laurel Ridge Treatment Center as a recreational therapist.
