Couple exchange vows in outdoor ceremony

Roy and Shelli Pederson Roy and Shelli Pederson Shelli Nadine Pederson of Austin and Roy Brent Nicks of Lampasas exchanged wedding vows Aug. 7, 2010, in a backyard ceremony at the home of the groom’s sister, Deb and Toad Carroll, in Marble Falls.

Pastor Mike Ensrude of Fredericksburg officiated the double-ring evening ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Yvonne Pederson and the late Keith Pederson of Thief River Falls, Minn. She is the granddaughter of the late Kenneth and Edna Pederson and Ingaborg Johnson and the late Willard Johnson.

The groom’s parents are Farrel and Janice Tucker of Lampasas, and the late Roy Lee Nicks of Lampasas. He is the grandson of the late Johnny and Alma Williams, and the late A.T. and Lucille Nicks, all of Lampasas.

The ceremony was performed outdoors by the swimming pool under a floral and greenery-decorated arbor.

The bride’s children were their attendants, daughters Jessika Dalziel Lantz and Brooke Dalziel Stefke, along with son Trey Dalziel.

After the wedding ceremony, family and friends enjoyed a backyard barbecue catered by Rusty Carroll of Lampasas.

Following wedding cake and punch, the George Pemberton county & western band entertained with dance music.

The bride graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1981 and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a nursing degree.

The groom graduated from Lampasas High School in 1983 and from Durham-Nixon Clay Business College in Austin.

The couple is at home in Austin.
